Kiryandongo District receives New laptops from NITA -U
Kiryandongo District on the 01/June/2021 received 15 laptops form National Information Technology Authority (under Regional Communications Infrastructure Program) which was graced by NITA-U's Director of E-Government Services Collin Babirukamu who flagged off the last distribution of laptops to Local Governments,
The move which is in line with the presidential directive and manifesto of change through information Technology was intended to empower civil servants to electronically deliver government services especially during these challenging times of the Covid-19 by cutting of physical contact.
Kiryandongo district is currently connected to the NBI for its internet and connectivity to the IFMS, the district website is also hosted by NITA U and lastly Kiryandongo cooperate emails were all migrated to the UMCS
